This momma noticed quickly that it’s no fun running along next to her son’s Hudora stunt scooter that he got for his 5th birthday. Girls just wanna have fu-hun!!! So mommy got a Hudora city scooter, which can be used by bigger kids and adults. Now, you can see us riding through town together and going on outings in the parks when the weather is nice (or not so nice, because we also venture out in the rain).

Mommy’s blue Hudora city scooter is for people 6+ years old and can carry up to 100 kg. It can be folded up for easy transportation and be adjusted to different heights. It can even be worn on your back with a belt. It has big wheels, is quiet, and rolls very softly, being especially suited for even terrain as city pavement. It’s not as cool as Lyons Cub’s orange stunt scooter with a skull, but hey — I’m over 40 and wouldn’t want to perform any stunts anymore 😉 Racing along my kiddo is already enough for me.

I also got a safety helmet with it; while my son’s helmet has lights in the front and in the back, mine has a red warning triangle in the back that can light up in different ways (permanently, or in various flashing patterns). It is comfy and fits well, even with braids and piggy tails underneath (I tried it out).

Both my son and I got a colorful lock, so we can leave our scooters at a lamp post while going to the mall. He has learned his secret lock number by heart. Now, we’re waiting for spring to come, to spend many happy hours riding through parks and forest pathways.
