Be honest, y’all need it at some point – a nice, stretchy dress either for the growing belly or for the “new shape” after having given birth, with easy access to “whip them out to latch” 😉 It needs to go fast, the latter, and you won’t have time to unbutton or unzip anything when the milk comes. Just pull open and ta-da! I was desperately in need for some dresses that grew with me, so I got about ten of the brand Zattcas. They are so comfy!

I worked until Lyons Cub was born, so I needed dresses that one could wear in a university setting while teaching and going to meetings, which were also comfortable for leisure time and social life. Most of all, I knew I had some costs coming towards me with C-section and probable hospital stay and all the new additions that come with having a baby; therefore, I was looking for something inexpensive that didn’t look cheap. These dresses were just the right pick and around 20-30 bucks. They fit well (I am 5’9 and about 150 lbs and bought size L), were loose enough, I didn’t need to wear a bra underneath, but it wasn’t visible if I did wear one. My son had easy access, and I could pump any second. During pregnancy, I could admire the contours of my growing belly, and after giving birth, they camouflaged my postpartum belly nicely. And in the warm climate of middle Tennessee, I could wear them from April through October 😉

Below are a few similar dresses from different brands, some with sleeves.

One can twirl with these dresses really well, too 😉
