Yay! Water fun in the summer heat! This gopher mat is small, 42 inches x 42 inches, and just perfect for a toddler who is learning to walk. S/he’ll enjoy stepping on those little gopher heads popping out of the mat, which will rise again after giving kiddo a delightful shower. Ours was a big attraction in the front yard; neighbor’s girls came over to play with it, too. There’s no inflation required; it’s just connected to a water hose, and one by one, the gophers will raise their curious heads, just to be flattened by a squealing toddler. After one year (and after mommy had stepped on it multiple times), one of the gopher heads burst open at the seam, but the others continued to work well. If you dry off your mat for storage, it won’t get moldy and will last for quite some time. Lyons Cub loved squishing the gophers with his little hands! You will not be disappointed.
